Teamsite 7.2.1 + Site Publisher - Couldn't Preview File

Hi,

My organization is in progress installing and setting up the Teamsite 7.2.1 + Site Publisher on Windows 2008 R2 64bit & IIS7.5.

The installation is successful and all services are up and running. However, we couldn't preview any file in any of the workarea. Error message "HTTP Error 404.4 - Not Found
The resource you are looking for does not have a handler associated with it." was prompted. We tried to add in StaticFile Module Mapping under iw-mount "Handler Mappings" but failed. Please refer to attaced file for the screen-shots.

appreciate if your prompt help as we are in crtical milestone now. Thanks in advance.

Usually, a 404 would indicate that the iw-mount virtual directory in IIS Manager is either missing or incorrectly configured. Make sure it's there, that it points to the Y drive, and that the permissions are correctly set up per the mentioned thread.

Did you try previewing from IIS? Was your IIS configured by the postreboot script post TS install?

Hi,

We have temporary resolved the problem by create a new website and app pool instead of using the "Default Website".

However we notice that 2 handler mapping are missing, i.e. AboMapperCustom-14984 & AboMapperCustom-14984-13687. Refer to attached doc.

I understand these 2 handler mapping is necessary for previewing of .ipl file. Appreciate your prompt help.
