HTTP callout from HTTPS Form failing

We are running TS 6.7.2 SP2 on Windows 2003. We have Data Capture Forms with callout buttons. For example, one of them allows the user to select a directory via a .Net application's ASPX page. This application is installed on the Content Web Server (on port 81) itself. This all works fine at the moment, but we want to switch over to accessing TeamSite over HTTPS.

When I log in to TS via HTTPS and then click on a callout button, the ASPX page (opened via HTTP) shows up all right but I'm getting a JavaScript error ("Permission denied") when the ASPX page attempts to update the caller with the selected string. Here's the code in question:

Before setting up port 81 for SSL access, I thought I'd check with you all if that will really help or whether there's another workaround.

You may have already know this, but your browser is giving you that error. Trying to work between http and https like that will violate the browser security settings. Some browsers more than others.

Is your aspx page doing anything special that you couldn't recreat with perl or java and run on the TeamSite system?

We ended up setting up a new, secure site for the ASPX callouts too.
