showing login screen after successful login

Has anyone seen this problem? i just installed TS on win2k. I have tried logging in as master, administrator, editor and author. I have added my user name and domain to the .uid files and I am not seeing any error on the login screen. It appears as if the log in screen is redirecting to itself on a successful login. On an unsuccessful login is still get the unrecognized username/password error, I have also looked at the server logs and it does appear as if the login goes through successfully.

This sounds like your authentication cookie is expiring about as quick as it gets created (or else it's not getting created?)
