Multiple Runtime Using modified OOTB PLC workflow

So I followed all the procedure to deploy to multiple runtime instance. My plan was to have a separate workflow for each runtime.
Modified the PLC workflow. Renamed it added the new deployment target.
odnodes odbase, checked with a test odjob if the servers are communicating.

When I try to submit files to the new runtime I get the following error.

Could not invoke method: deployFiles, reason: null

Why you are using seperate workflow for each node?

OOTB PLC workflow looks for "LiveSiteRuntime" target node. That should be defined in odnodes.xml of OpenDeploy. If you pass any other target node name then you have customize LiveSite configuration.

You can find the related topic "Deploy Multiple Sites to Multiple Runtime Instances" in "SitePublisher Developer Guide".

There is a bug in the OOTB PLC workflow (7.2.1) where you get an NPE when you deploy to targets other than production. There is a patch available to support mulitple runtime deployments. You need that.

You have to get that from support. I have an old copy which was a bear to install.
