Clarification on the Rules that govern the Fixed Custom Layout & Areas & Rows

I am reviewing the Fixed Custom Layout, and came across the rules that state

You can only have 1 Liquid area in row

Now , if I am implementing the row , as #7 in the image attached

How does this rule impacts the 8 areas of my row .... can only 1 box be liquid ???

I think you can only have one liquid area per <row>, meaning the actual markup item. For your #7, you would have multiple nested <row> items (within <column> parents), so I think you have more flexibility than to say "only one of these blue boxes is liquid". That said, a layout this complex would be best achieved with proper CSS rather than using the width attributes of the SitePub layout engine.
