Localization , can we turn on and off on Images ?

I am sorta investigating the ability of system to restruct , images from being localized

As you know when you go to a image and then localize , it generates some special folders for locales,

So now we have these localized files , however now there is a thought process going on in our team , that may be we would be better off keeping all images in US only locale. Clearing up some room in system visually and maintaining the data.

Are there any good practice to perhaps , revert the files to be in non-localizable state for images only?

Sorta like a method where I can just choose a folder and then change all the status of all images in 1 folder lets say US to files are non localizable status?

Just trying to figure out a best approach on this

You can write a script to set extended attribute "G11N/Localizable=false" on all those files, or you can use the "Actions > Monitor Localization" to do the same.

The cleanup effort is still going to be a manual thing though.
