log file location in wfm

Hi,

My wfm external task is using a java class. We are using System.out.println to print out the logs. Can you please let me know what is the log file location.

Depending on TS version - the places I would look would be:

It's not going through the logging framework -- it's using the default STDOUT for the application container. So on 7.x, it goes to server.log under ApplicationContainter, and in 6.x. it goes to servletd_out.log in local/logs/iwui.

That said, using System.out.println is a terrible idea. It's almost negligible effort to use commons logging instead, and then you can actually control what you want to see in your logs and which log you want it to write to. You also don't have to go through and clean up all your println statements when you put your code in production.
