DCR not deploying to runtime

Iam on TS 7.3.2, Solaris.

I am running a startdeploy.sh command to push a dcr to a LSCS runtime. at the target I see only the folder structure "/content/templatedata/myCategory/myDataType/data" created but I dont find the dcr in it.

the cmd is framed like this : /opt/iw-home/LiveSiteCSAuth/authoring/bin/startdeploy.sh -StartDeploy_OverrideManifest /opt/iw-home/manifest/manifest_file.txt -StartDeploy_DeploymentMode LSCSmode

Also when I create a DCR I dont find these below ea 's for the dcr

TeamSite/LiveSite/DeploymentAudit: View XML
TeamSite/LiveSite/Id: ho9fu3hk

are these above ea's required on a DCR for the LSCS to understand for the deployment.

Those EA's get attached by the PLC deployment task. They won't be there when you first create a DCR.

As for your deployment issue, I'm not sure what you mean by looking at a folder structure. There's no such thing in LSCS. Check /lscs/v1/projects on the runtime side to make sure there was an entry for your branch, and then check /lscs/v1/document?q=*&project=<branch> to see if your DCR made it in.

If you didn't even get a project created, then you'll have to check your OD logs and LSCS import logs to find where the processing broke.

Thanks rpoulin, As suggested I checked for projects and yes the projects are not created. Could this be a reason the DCRs not have reached its destination (target runtime ). Aslo looked at the OD logs and LSCS logs nothing much recorded there !!

If there is no project then no DCRS have been deployed.

It willbe created when a successful deployment happens.

You need to find the OD receiver logs. Look for the adp.* files (not rollback) and find what the problem is.
