Birt 2.3 - Birt Viewer browser Error-Warnng

When I run a report in browser it appears a warning icon in the left lower corner in my browser with the following message:

Line: 1686
Char: 4
Error: 'Constants.request.format' is null or not an object.
Code: 0
URL: "http://localhost:8080/birt-viewer/frameset?_report=Report/SalesInvoice.rptdesign"

I'm trying this wiht a Birt's Demo report.

Even with this report the first window is that you must provide the Order Number to consult, but when you click on OK Nothing happens, it doesn't open the report neither close that window and the warning icon continues there.

This behavior appears with my own reports.

Any help will be appreciate.

I'm using Tomcat 5.5 with Birt Runtime 2.3

It happens in Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.16 and Firefox 3.0.1

I have not been able to re-create this issue with the SalesInvoice.rptdesign that comes with BIRT in either IE or Firefox. Can you post the version of SalesInvoice.rptdesign that you're using so I can run it to see if that makes a difference?

Hi ALCE,
I am also getting same problem today. Then I delete the cache of the birt-viewer context in tomcat/work directory, and restart the tomcat,the error is disappear. Everything is OK! If you upgrade the birt-viewer from early version,you must delete the cache of the birt-viewer in tomcat/work directory.
