about Total.ave() in BIRT 2.3.1

Hi,
I am using BIRT 2.3.1. In that I want to use Total.ave(), Total.min() etc.
There are groups & I have to show avg(), min(), max() per group.
I have to use it in report footer.
But at runtime it is showing an error(like Aggregate function not allowed here)
If any one can help me please..

If you use Aggregation Builder from Quick Tools, you should not add functions like "Total.ave()" to the expression.
