Tables and the design of them

Hi
I don't understand something about tables.
I have the data, but I want to see the lines between it (each row to have line on the top and bottom and so on)

I have tried servel things, yet didn't help me.

I have come to a table where I do have many lines, but they all spearated (like boxes around the data)

Not good, I just want the table to be as in WORD, with grid and so on.

Second thing,
When I create a table, even thought the data is like 1,2,3,4 and so on, yet the column is huge!
How do I change it?
I want the table to much more smaller and more to the size of my data.

Hi ead,

For the the grid lines in the table, all you'll need to do is select all the table cells and add a border to them. If you do the report item inside the cell instead, it will look like boxes around the data.

For changing the column size, if you select the individual column, you can specify a width value in the general section of the property editor.
