Pb exporting report to Excel with Birt 2.3.0

Hello,

I've got a report with cross tab. If I make an export with this the xls file seems no readable by Excel 2003 nor 2007 viewer. I tried to rename the xls to xlsx or xml and this doesn't work better.

The error message is : Excel viewer cannot open the file 'test.xlsx' because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file (attached is this file named test.zip/test.xls).

I've got the same error with report with no crosstab (test2.zip/test2.xls)

can you open those files ?

Is this a known bug ?

I am able to open test2, but not test. What version of BIRT are you using? If you are using a newer version then it may make sense to recreate this problem with the included sample database and submit this as a bug at <a class='bbc_url' href='http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/reportabug.php'>BIRT: Reporting Bugs and Requesting Enhancements</a><br />
