Error- Uploading large size files into workarea

Hi,

we are using teamsite 5.5.2 in solaris 8 O/S.here using import files.. option we are tring to upload 20MB files.but it gives an error.

Import error: Error importing file sample.ppt to TeamSite server Error receiving file transfer result from 'http:/teamsiteserver/iw-bin/iwfileupdownload.cgi'
java.io.IOException - teamsiteserver:80//iw-bin/iwfileupdownload.cgi

what will be the problem how to rectify this.can any one suggest.

try uploading the file directly to iwmnt or y:/

This may be a temporary fix

Hi,

I would say because of the size of the file the connection used to upload the file to Teamsite is timing out. Contacting support is this situation is the best option i would say, unless Fish can gives us a quicker answer.

we saw this with 5.5.1 on solaris. It had to do with the tomcat java process not
being configured with enough memory. I upped the memory, and
the problem went away.

I also ran into this problem.

You need to make sure that your client machines have JRE 1.4. You can get it at http://www.java.com. Click the download button. See KB article #2265.
