alignment trouble with Exported Excel

Hi all,

My reports look great in BIRT viewer and things mess up once the user export (to excelsheets..) Have a look at the report output attached with this thread.. you will see lots of columns messed.. and customers simply don't like this!!

If I have only one cross tab in my report, everything is fine.. if I add a grid,label or table after the main report, things go messy.. If you alter the width of a column in the excel sheet.. the reports become more messy! I tried providing fixed width for all the headers and no sucess..

Please advice how this issue can be resolved.. Is it possible to display each cross tab in separate sheets?

Hi Abdel,

The problem is because of BIRT rendering different columns at different widths in your two crosstabs. I'm not sure that there's a way to put them each on their own sheet. If I find something, I'll let you know.
