Any thoughts on Graphical Workflow Monitor?
B80116
Is anyone using the Interwoven Consulting Services Graphical Workflow Monitor Plus Pack? If so, do you find it useful? How painful was the install, configuration, and retrofitting of existing workflows to get it working? Do your workflows have to have been built using Workflow Builder, or does it work with "handcrafted" workflows as well? Thanks for any inputs you can provide.

One more question...
How much did you pay to have this thing, that
should
be part of the product, installed?

We use it here. It is a solid tool. Unfortunately, as Smitty points out. IWOV engineering has a not-invented here syndrome. This is one of a few tools that make implementation of TS much easier. They should be base parts of the system.

The tool wil work with any WF that has been modified to pass data to the tool. There are special permissions issues you will need to worry about (which is why support would be nice). My install has several disparete groups using TS and we had to play with permissions of the admin branch to get everything to work.
Also, one thinkg that happened here. The WF has a task at the end that collects data. This task was written with the lock=T attribute. So when a file was deleted this task woudl hang for ever. Finally, we have some fairly complex WFs, 1-5 concurrent approvers, nested job with owner approval, then a marketing group approval. All of these have email notification (so each approval is 5 tasks), the window is not resizable, so it difficult to show these.
IWOV CSO has implemented some very nice tools like this, I wish engineering would embrace them, productise them & heck charge for them if there is a market for it. But just support the things. We are using WF Plus and HTMLmail. Very nice, I have heard good things about the admin tool also but have not looked at it.
Is there a documented list ?

Hey Andy - surprisingly enough, I was being serious when I asked the question of how much it cost for them to install it. I'm curious what a ballpark estimate would be.
