Project References..to other projects??
millvall
In my workspace I have 3 projects:
- BIRT
- Java
- JavaScript
On the BIRT project I did Project->Properties->
Project References, and selected the Java and
JavaScript projects. (and restarted)
I was *hoping* this would allow me to add JAR files
and JS files to the design as resources.
But the Browser buttons only see the BIRT project
contents.
Which means, I have to copy 'n paste my JS and JAR
files from their respective projects into the BIRT
project in order to add them to my BIRT report.
Is this the way it is supposed to work?
IF YES...What purpose does the Project->Properties-
> Project References serve?
I hope I'm missing a silly step so I can add resources
directly from Java and JS projects.
Thanks
Milt.

Hi Milt,
If you have a java class in a java project and include that as a reference project to your report project, you can then use those class functions in your report scripting.
