bold font turns into times new roman

Hello

I have this font called "Imago" installed on the computer.
It works when used in BIRT, but when i make it bold, it turns into Times New Roman when i generate a PDF / Worddoc out of it. (If its not bold, works fine)

Anyone knows why this is?

Hi Nevius,

It's probably a different font when it's in bold. You may not have that one installed on your computer, so when you use bold, it doesn't have a font to use, so it goes to the default of times new roman. That's just a guess, but if you find a font to install called "Imago Bold" or something like that, I'm sure it would work.

Thanks for your help but i have no such font.

I can use bold imago in Word, and also can generate HTML reports and it works fine. Its just when i generate PDF or Worddoc reports, it turns into Times New Roman.

I would still say it's because of a font issue not having a bold version of the font since it works as expected when you don't choose bold. You might try finding an "Imago Bold" font somewhere and installing it on your computer, this might solve the issue.
