I am trying to resize the charts dynamically at the run time based on the amount of data. 
 
I have found this article..

I tried it.. but I am not getting a way of putting the code into "onrender" and the "Before Factory" settings in the advance tab.. 
 
Also, is there another way of doing the same..

Hi Abhi,

What version of BIRT are you using? If using 2.2 or before, you'd use those script sections. If using 2.3 or later, you can do the beforeGeneration method as described in the article.

To access the beforeFactory script, you'd click on the report design somewhere not in an element and click on the script tab under the design window, then choose the correct method from the dropdown.

To access the onRender of the chart, you'd click on the chart and then the script tab, then you'd select the function from the drop down at the top of the window.

In the 2.3 and later way, you'd access the beforeGeneration the same way I described to get to the beforeFactory script above.
