Error while setting interval in Group

Hi All,

I am getting error(snapshot attached) while setting days as interval in group.
Any kind of help is appreciable.

Is the field you're setting the interval group on a date field? This error says that it is not. Please confirm. Thanks.

Hi Mwilliams,

I have one field as AGE which is difference between two dates, so it is decimal.

Now, I want pagebreak in group "Age" such that the output is like:
In first page range should be 1-30
All the records coming under this range should be in one page.

Iira,

Rather than "Days", choose interval. Then, for the interval value, enter 30.

You may have to select the "use fixed base value for interval" checkbox and make it 31 to get the first page started offf with 1-30.

It worked with the data I used. Can you post a small sample of your data so I can see exactly what you're working with? Also, what is your BIRT version?
