Do others have conflict with staging?
System
Does anyone else have a problem with "Conflict With Staging" showing up and there is no indication about what is causing it? I'm really confused about all the conditions that can cause this. At the least, it seems like TeamSite knows that there is a conflict, but doesn't always display what the problem is.
We also have a problem in which the developer submits work for approval and then goes home. The approver signs off on the work, but it never goes into production. Instead, it goes to the developer's To Do list and know one knows what is happening until the developer comes back.
I was wondering if other people run into this and have a work around.

I've asked the same question at least 3 times. It has been ignored at least 3 times. Good luck.

I have also had this many times.
Nobody was able to answer me either.

I see this often, many times due to attributes (either file or extended) Those will not show up in a diff.

What would be extremely useful would be for the
submittask
to allow for a special successor that could be used to notify someone in the case of a conflict, say successor 1 (the successors start at 0). In addition, the worst UI in the history of UI has got to be the submit conflict window. It is awful. It should simply tell me which file was in conflict and why it thought it was in conflict, and allow me to ignore or fix the problem.

I seem to recall that allowing the submittask (and updatetask) to have both a success and failure transition mode is something that is coming (perhaps it's in SP3 but I don't think so - I think its going to be in TS6, but I could be wrong about that too - sorry).

Ive been using a timeout in the submit task to guess there is a conflict.
If after a few minutes the submittask has not transitioned we assume there is a conflict and send off an email and return back to the task.
It seems to work fine.
What I dont get is the new webdesk resolve conflict interface.
It seems to show me the files at fault, but I have no actions to do anything. I can view the file details and thats about all. Is this right??...
