Hello Indian,
Are you aware of page break option in BIRT? You can define suitable page break interval(after so many rows) and pattern i.e. before, after etc...
Select any of the palette you have in the layout and find the page break option at the property editor window. Try around that option.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Your requirement should have been achieved using the page break option, if you can post the designer file then it would be easier to find out what needs to be done and where.
However there are already many posts in this forum that may help you in this regard.

Hello,
Whenever you are creating a group select the option to page break always after a group. In your case, you are grouping based upon students' name, edit that group and and give page break option as always for after.
See the attached image which explains what I'm trying to say.
Also find a test designer file attached which is created upon the classic model database available within BIRT. I have tried to do something similar to your requirement. I have grouped each employee by his JOB TITLE and am showing employees with same job titles in the same page.
Hope this helps.

I have noticed that BIRT can become "confused" if you start trying to put page breaks in and out and make other changes, one after the other. After running around in circles for a while, I sometimes simply start a new report, copying and pasting into it items from the first on. By starting over, and setting up the items in a more logical order, like setting up a table and inserting grouping and getting that paging correctly, I can add the cross tab without issue.
Just a thought.

Ya, that helps sometimes
, but knowing what has actually happened might avoid us getting into the same situation again. What say??
