Is it possible to adjust the origin for the new Radar Plot?
JMcGrath
I work in a meteorological environment and as you may or may not be aware there is a distinct difference in the way coordinates are handled Meteorologically compared to mathematically. Essentially in Math the Positive X-Axis represents 0 Degrees, whereas in a meteorological environment the positive Y-Axis (North) represents 0 Degrees. Is it possible with the current Radar chart to select where the plot starts, basically the origin (currently it starts on the right or Positive X-Axis, whereas for the purpose of a wind rose or Wind Direction plot it would be preferable to start at the top (or Positive Y-Axis)).
Any guidance with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi JMcGrath,
I have not worked much with the radar chart type, but from a quick look, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to switch the orientation of the chart.
One possible workaround would be to adjust your numbers in a way that they sit on the plot in the correct spot and if you use the labels, then adjust your values for your labels to show the actual values rather than the computed values to make the chart look correct for your application. Hope this helps.
