Displaying Single Row in BIRT
Preethisha
Hi Guru,
I have read your postings for so many persons. I have a doubt. My requirment is to design a BIRT report which should disply the RFQ Number(Request for Quotation) in the first row. In another table, The details of A SINGLE vendor should be displayed(An RFQ number can have multiple Vendor entries in the RFQ table). After that, The Item details of that particular RFQ Number should be displayed. I have designed a report. I have attached the screenshot with this(Report SS.JPG).
In a page RFQ Number, Then Details of a single vendor, Then details of all the line itmes should be displayed.
Eg., In a page, RFQ Number, Details of the Vendor BEARING and then the ItemLine table details should come.
In the next page, The same RFQ Number, Details of the Vendor FSC, Then the same Items details have to be displayed.
Like this, all the vendor details should be diaplayed in a separate page.
For that, What should be done? In query level? or in the page design?
Thanks in Advance,
Preethisha

What you can do is force a page break on the begin of the table (its in porpeties of the table).

Hi,
I designed as per My requirements. I placed two tables for vendor details and Item details in a single detail row of the table. But Is there any way to displaay Each vendor detail in separate page? For eg., BEARING and Item details in a page. Then FSC and Item details in the next page likewise.
Thanks,
Preethisha

First thanks for ur suggestion. It works. But I selected the table and set the Page Break After option as "always". All others as "avoid". I could get each row in separate page. Actually, the data should come in 3 pages only. But in 3 pages, data is displayed correctly with the page breaks. But two more pages are displayed as blank. What shoud I do to remove those blank pages? Actually, I have placed a 3 rows 1 column grid in that detail row of the table. Inside that Grid, I placed two tables to show the dta of the 2 datasets. I set the Page Break After option as "always" only to the main table but not for others.<br />
