BIrt word/xls report are getting saved as .xml

Hi,

When i am open a birt word report and then from file menu i click on save repot then report is getting saved as .xml not .doc.
This is creating trouble for me while saving that report on ftp server through a scheduler and when i tried to open file saved on ftp it's giving error because i saved word reports on ftp as .doc but the reports generated by birt are of type .xml .

Please help me to resolve this.
Is there any way to save birt reports as .doc.
I am attaching a screen shot of it.

What version of BIRT and word are you using? Can you attach the screenshot?
