help!how to extend the birt with extension points!

i'm developing the birt 2.6 on demand in bussiness.but in eclispe.org ,i can't find more useful information about extension points ,there just 2 examples in wikii.so i wanna know where i can fine something useful or examples.

The best place is in the book Integrating and Extending BIRT by Jason Weathersby. That is going to be your most detailed source on the BIRT extension points.
