I'm not sure what the schedule for supporting solaris 9 is - I suggest you (and any other customer that has this requirement) contact interowven support and request to have a feature request opened (or have their name added to any existing feature request) along these lines.

It takes time to improve the existing product, add functionality, and port everything over to a new OS - and resources have to be scheduled for all of that (i.e. it's not just a trivial thing that takes one day to do - because there are a number of kernel-level interactions that have to be handled). Customer demand plays an important role in determining where and when resources get directed...

Yes, TeamSite Server support for Solaris 9 is in plan. It will be included in a TeamSite server upgrade release. Release availability targeted for first-half 2004.
