strange error if view as pdf in eclipse

in eclipse, if view as web viewer, everything is normal.
if view as pdf, the report parameter value is very strange as attached, what is the reason?

I am using birt designer 2.2.1

oh, I found a file named "ADM00001_System_Resource_Utilization_Single_Heat_Chart.rptconfig", when I delete this file, when view as pdf, the report parameter show correctly now, with start date and end date is blank, but why there is such a file .rptconfig exist?

Also, I found another strange problem, when view as pdf, the layout is greatly different from the design layout, why will this happen?

If I had to guess, the spacing issue probably has something to do with the sizing of your table or something. Not sure. I'd have to have a report with the same issue to play around with to figure it out. If you can create this issue with the sample database, I can take a look. It could also possibly just be a bug with the PDF emitter for your version. BIRT has changed a lot since 2.2.1. If you're not tied to 2.2.1 because of another product, you might look into upgrading.
