xls emitter with chart and Image

Hi, I'm currently using BIRT to create reports in my web application.

The problem I have is that, when exporting in xls format, the images and the charts aren't created (It's a known problem I know).

I've search over the internet and it seems that some people had created new emitter to patch this problem. The one which is the most recommanded is Tribix.

My problem is that I've tried it and I'm absolutely unable to make it works.

I've done what it says in the readme file (copy the plugin, etc) and the results is that, in MyEclipse 9, I loose the xls option as preview. I've tried other way and I didn't have more success.

I've check the release date and it seems that the newest version of BIRT is much more recent then latest one of Tribix, is their any compatibility problem with this ?

Ok, I finally found a solution.

In fact, the steps on how to install tribix are correct. However, it doesn't work with MyEclipse (8.5 and 9).

So, if you want to create reports with BIRT and Tribix, you must install eclipse reporting version and it will works fine.
