uri images in pdf

Hi Birt Community,

I tried to insert images depending on a data value into the report. I used the Expression Builder and linked to images on the www.
It worked fine as long as I got my report as html report. But unfortunately it didnt work with the pdf.
Any idea what went wrong?

Embedded images are fine in pdf, can I refer to them in the Expression builder?

What is your BIRT version? I just tried this in 3.7.0 and URI images worked in PDF for me.

thx for the reply. 
Its the 2.6.1. But now I believe the problem might be with the acrobat reader proxy... 
So it has nothing to do with birt.

Hi Linda,

I'm having the very same problem, both in BIRT 2.6.2 and 3.7.0; that is, an image loaded via URI works just fine in the report viewer except when I try to view it in pdf or try to print it to pdf. You mentioned something about an acrobat proxy; if adjusting that resolved your problem, could you please share the details?
