PDF Export column width all the same

I'm creating reports with the auto layout preference. The reports look great. But, when I export to PDF (and others) all the columns are the same width, and the text is clipped. I'm using 2.6.2.
Anyone figured this one out yet?

Do you have lots of columns trying to fit to the page? Or is it leaving lots of extra space on some columns and just not enough on others? If you're outputting to PDF, it's probably best that you size your columns and use a fixed layout since PDF is a fixed page size.

It's making all the columns the exact same width, whether fixed or dynamic

Even if you set the widths of your columns, it makes them the same?

i am facing same problem, before i working jasper report , this is adjusted in PDF format also.. but in Birt is not Supporting.

I found , how to solve this one.
GOTO --> Mster PAge
Change "TYPE" Custom , after Change width and Height.

I am new to Birt.wht do u mean by "Mster PAge"? is it the main report page u r talking about.if so then I have not found any "TYPE" option in "Mster PAge" link of the report page.<br />

<br />
design view , xml view , preview ,master page, more view is there, master page is one of view.<br />
Goto properties --> general ----> Type ..<br />
type is there..
