please say the steps to add Birt functions in the particular column

hiyaaa...u cud add a dynamic text to your column or even data to create a new column binding...right-click insert...u can then build up ur expression.. im quite new to BIRT..so i learnt most of it by trial and error..

There are plenty of tutorials and documentation here on this site. Go to Community/Resources/Documentation section, or go to DevShare and do a search for tutorials. You can also check the Help file that comes with Eclipse BIRT.
