Currency/Number Format customization

Hi

I am new to Birt report, I have read some topic and got that we can use as:

this.getStyle().numberFormat = "formatString"

I user same way to customize and it's working fine. In report some variable initializing on event onFetch, on the basis of that some new section becoming visible. But onFecth event is failing (It is not initializing the variable) So my report is not showing all section.

Please suggest what can i do for that.(Or can i change the numberFormat after generating report for all <data> element)

Can you try to initialize the variable in the beforeFactory?
