Hide an element at the end of a report

Hi @all

I'm searching a solution to hide a text-element which is before a table. The visiblity of the text-elements
depends on a row-counter in the table.
Hiding works fine, when the text-element is after the table, but I'm looking for a solution when the
text-element is before the table.

If you check the value of the row counter in the table in the onCreate method, store it in a persistent global variable, then check this pgv in the onRender and decide whether to hide or not. You'll have to use separate run and render tasks for this. If using a URL to run report, you need to use frameset.

I solved my problem in this way:

Problem: Control the visibility of a dynamic Text in die table header depending on the row-count

1. create a new parameter in the dataset (Computed Columns: Name:rowcount, Typ:Intege, Aggregation: RUNNINGCOUNT)
2. make a binding with the new parameter and the table, delete the new element in the table (the binding will not be deleted)
3. put a new Data-Elment in the table (Column Binding Name:maxRowcount, Data Type: Integer, Expression: Total.max(row["rowcount"]), delete the new Data-Element
4. put a new dynamic-Text in the table Header
5. now you can control the visibility of the hole Table-Header according the maxRowcount, f.e.

if (row["maxRowcount"] >= params["maxResult"].value) {
false;
} else {
true;
}
