Hide one table out of two tables

Dear Williams,
My request is straight to you only

I have two tables in my rptd file. Out of the two tables I want to display only one table depending upon the value of flag. If the extensionColumns=1 I want to hide the first table (id="2455") otherwise i want to hide the second table (id="2216"). I have browsed all the other related FAQs about the similar topics and fallowed all the possible solutions given by you.
For your reference i have attached rptd file. Please have look and let me know what could be the issue.

Put this in your beforeFactory script: 
 
<pre class='_prettyXprint _lang-auto _linenums:0'>
if (params["extensionColumns"].value == "1"){
reportContext.getDesignHandle().findElement("Table1").drop();
}
else{
reportContext.getDesignHandle().findElement("Table2").drop();
}
</pre>
 
Then, in the property editor for the first table, make the "name" field "Table1", and for the second table, make it "Table2". 
 
That should do it.
