Mouse Over Option Not Visible in Series Interactivity Dialogue

Hi

I am trying to enable the option of showing the Y axis values when the user moves the mouse over the graph. As per the information i have searched this option should be under Series -> Value (Y) Series -> Interactivity. The series interactivity dialog that opens up shows only "Mouse Click" in the Events drop down box. I am not able to find the "Mouse Over" option. Can anyone tell me where to find the Mouse Over option? Do i need to change some configurations to enable it?

I tried to set the "Mouse Click" option but that as well does not seem to work.

The chart output format is "SVG". I am using BERT 3.7.1 which came with Eclipse that i downloaded form the following link:

Hi,

svg is deactivated by default because Internet Explorer still can't handle SVG images. If you are working in the designer you have to click on Window->Preferences->Report Design->Preview.
You should be able to see a checkbox called Enable SVG Chart. Activate the checkbox.

Please remember that IE is the system browser for windows. So even if you have Firefox as your default browser IE is beeing used as browser to display the content of the preview tab. If you are not able to see the chart in the preview after you enabled the SVG chart it's because of your Internet Explorer.
You can install a plugin for Internet Explorer that enables it to display SVG images (http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install/)

Thank cbrell for the reply.

After enabling SVG form the Preview preferences, "Mouse Click" has started working for me. I still don't see the "Mouse Over" option but when i enable "Mouse Click" the "Mouse Over" also works automatically and shows the same value i set for "Mouse Click". Is this the expected behavior? Can i keep there two separate so that i can show different values for "Mouse Click" and "Mouse Over"?

Is the chart interactivity feature only available for SVG format?
