How do I select cell instead od data?

I am following the tutorial found above. In step 3 of the "Display group headings on the first row of each group " section, it tells me to select the cell like the picture and set Drop to detail. The problem is that I can't select the cell. Every time I click on the cell, the property editor says, "Property Editor - Data" instead. Thank you.

Find the Outline View (Windows menu -> Show View -> Outline) and you should see that you have a hierarchy like:<br />

You can select the unselectable in there.
