How to scale labels on Category Axis?

Hi,

I am designing line chart with days as x (category) label. It's a 3 months data but I would like to present the label not for each day but for each end of month?

How do I do this since scale on "category label" is disabled?

Do you need to use the axis as a category axis? Or can you disable that option? If you want to keep a category axis, can you show me what some data would look like, so I can use it in an example? Also, let me know your BIRT version. Thanks!
