Sum of Total from Percent Stacked Bar Chart
DavidRiep
<p>Dear All,
I've been struggling for a while to come up with an easy way to sum the values in a percent stacked bar chart and display them on the x axis.
I'm using BIRT 2.3.2 (thanks to Maximo) and I have a Percent Stacked Bar Chart.
My thoughts are to use the onRender method and start with adding the series values and storing them as another value. That's where I start to fall a bit short. I don't know how to identify the series values for each row nor how to add them together.
Any help would be really aprreciated.
I've attached two pictures to give you an idea of what I'd like to achieve. The first is the setup of my chart and the second shows two charts. Appendix A is what I have, Appendix B is what I would like to have.
Thanks</p>

Try modifying your Category (x) series in the expression builder
e.g. row["Month"] +"\r\n" + row["TotPercent"];
This will put your total under your month

You know sometimes the simplist solution is the best! I can't believe I didn't even think about that, I was too busy trying to script it!! Good work!<br />

<p>Ok maybe I spoke too soon on this because I've added an aggregated column to the binding and now I get an error.<br />

Any other suggestions please <img src='
