How to export report data to RTF format ?

Hi Guys, I've a requirement to export report to RTF format, same as we export to pdf format and as the pdf, doc options display.

Current version of birt is 2.3.2.

Could you please let me know if I need to add some plugins to my BIRT workspace ?

I've tried adding some emitters from sourceforge but didn't help. There were 2 files bin & src. I've added only src plugin.

Your valuable suggestions are highly appreciated !!!

Even if you could add them how would you deploy to Maximo?

BTW, which emitters are you using and are you sure they work with 2.3.2?

RTF emitters available in below link. I'm not too sure how to deploy in Maximo. There is no BIRT version defined for downloads...

The versions are in the name of the files. I expect that the rtf-emitter_2.3.1 version will work for you. That being said, I have no idea how one would deploy this to Maximo (if it is even possible). Maximo has customized the BIRT engine and I have no idea how to deploy a new emitter to Maximo. That would be a question for IBM or Maximo customization experts.

Please define not working. Does it work in the designer? It seems you (or someone with a similar problem) posted to the Tribix discussion forum. They will be the ones to answer your question. 
 
In any case even if you get it to work in the designer have you figured out how (if) one would distribute this emitter to Maximo?

Hi, to answer your question, it isn't working in designer. There's no latest update from that discussion whether it worked or not. I'll chase.

I would try to find out even if you can deploy a custom emitter to Maximo before you start chasing.

Hi, now I'm able to see an option to "generate report in RTF" in the designer. But when I actually run the report, it gives me the below exception. 
 
"Report engine fails to initialize rtf emitter, please make sure required libraries for this emitter are installed" 
 
Could you please let me know where do I find libraries ? so that report is generated without any issues.

Did the emitter come with instructions on how to deploy?

Hi, ther are no instructions to follow on deploying the emitters. Please shed some light if you're aware of installing libraries for the RTF emitters. Many thanks.
