Why I can't find Birt helping posts/material on devshare?
Arif shah

Hi All,

I often try to search old posts for my problems. There seem to be a lot of relevant and excellent posts that answer my questions but most often the links seem unavailable on devshare.

Most of the times, other developers post links to devshare as solution but I cannot find those posts on devshare

Its been happening a lot so I wonder if all those posts have been moved to some other locations. One example link is below

http://www.birt-exchange.org/devshare/deploying-birt-reports/770-calendar-for-date-parameter-in-birt-viewer/#description

I
will appreciate if someone who knows what happens to older posts can answer this

Many Thanks

Arif

Hi Arif! We've upgraded some software for the forums and in doing so some of the links have broken. We're working to make sure all of these are up and running as soon as possible, If you run across anymore broken links like above please report them and I'll try to find the content/fix the issue for you.

Here is the new location of the post you posted above:
<a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='

Like Kris said, we'd appreciate if you'd report these posts each time you run across one so we can update the URLs. After you report the post, instead of waiting for the response, you could click on the search icon in the top navigation next to "Actuate" and enter the first few words from the title of the devshare post from the old url. Most of the time, this should help you find it. If the global search doesn't locate it, try the community search with the devshare radio button selected. Thanks for your patience.
