<p>As long as you use a font that supports Tamil BIRT is completely Unicode compliant.</p>

<p>Yes. The point I was trying to make that supporting Tamil is just part of what you need to do in order to display Tamil. No all fonts have the Tamil characters. You need to also make sure you use an appropriate font on your reports.</p>
