Connecting to iHub from server within the network

Hello,
I have setup my i-hub and a report. It works fine as long as I access the iHub using localhost. 
If I want users from within the organization to access my iHub, what do I need to do? Use Tomcat? 
I tried replacing localhost to my IP or my computer name(<a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://localhost:8700/iportal/login.do'>http://localhost:8700/iportal/login.do</a>), I turned of the windows firewall, nothing helped. 
I guess this is a basic thing and I must have missed a line or two in the documentation.

Are you using an F-Type installation or a full iHub installation?
 
Can you provide a screenshot of the behavior that occurs when attempting to connect from a remote machine?

I use F-type and not a full version. 
Going to <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://mycomputer:8700/iportal'>http://mycomputer:8700/iportal</a>just gives me "cannot resolve host" or something like that. Can get back tomorrow with a screen shot.

Thank you for the update.
Using F-Type is fine and rules out a settings change that may be required in the full version.
 
It sounds like the issue may be related to network communication between the iHub machine and the remote machine. However, I should be able to tell more once you are able to provide a screenshot.
 
Also, you can ping the iHub machine using its hostname from the remote machine?

Thank you for your patience JFreeman. I thought I stopped the firewall using the Windows Service application. Apparently that was not enough in this case..... I had to use the control panel and inacitvating the firewall from there. 
So adding port 8700 as an exception should be sufficient.
