Swapping Data Cubes in Crosstab not possible

Hi all,
 
I have 2 data cubes - I want to swap the old cube a Crosstab is using as a source for the new one.
 
Through binding, this isn't a problem: I just change it under the 'Data' dropdown.
 
However, the Crosstab can't "see" the new cube properly - when changing the Data Column bindings, opening the expression builder - it can't see any dimensions in the 'Current Data Cube' categories.
 
Is there something I'm missing here? Because, if I input the correct dimension names manually, it still doesn't work.

Not too sure I understand your question but one thing I noticed with crosstab is that, once you make major changes like the one you have done, you would have to manually save it before you run it. try that to see if it helps.
