Could not get the file
megamala
We are deploying the files using Directory comparision. We are getting this error frequently. When we deploy again we won't get this error. When I search in the support site, it says it could possible either disk space or permission. But I chekced the production server it has enough disk space.

Perhaps there's something conflicting with the deployed files, such as an automatic indexing service or another deployment running?

If you don't mind can explain me about automatic indexing. We are deploying using -inst (with instance name). Could you tell me when its comes another deployment running problem.

I've heard of situations on Microsoft platforms when the MS indexing service locks files in the target area during a deployment, which causes problems for OD.
You may also run into problems when multiple deployments have overlapping files. If you are using -inst, there's a possibility that this is what's happening.

I just wanted to chime in on your first point about Microsoft Index Server. We've been using OpenDeploy for nearly two years and have never experienced a problem with Index Server locking any files. A good number of the deployment targets are indexed too. I've only had to ignore the catalog.wci folder when doing a deployment with the do_deletes option set to true.
Also, it doesn't look like his target server is IIS based on the folder (/home/httpd/htdocs/). Looks like Apache possibly?

We are deploying the files both Unix and NT. We are getting this problem in both platforms.

I mentioned earlier "You may also run into problems when multiple deployments have overlapping files. If you are using -inst, there's a possibility that this is what's happening."
Have you determined whether this is happening in your case?

Sounds like you may want to open a case with Tech Support.
