MediaBin server restarts automatically

We are using MediaBin 7.2. For one of the assets in the repository (maybe there are more), when we try to download it, either though web client or through API (via service.retrieve), the server automatically restarts and asset doesn't get downloaded. In IDOL application log, there is an error -
Action failed - unencrypted communication is not allowed (::1): "ACTION=GetStatus&DatabaseMatch=MediaBin&Combine=simple".
Has the asset got corrupted? Any pointers?

if you only query for the Asset on Idol, lets say for ID, name or any other property of the asset, the query to Idol returns anything?

We had the same issue a few years ago for date metadata set to a year far away in the future, setting this value caused MediaBin service to restart automatically
