CMS startup error

hi all...
i have applied windows patch and iam getting the following error when i start teamsite...

An error has occured trying to obtain the todo list. The message returned by the server is: GetSciErrorString is unable to open a session.

what may be the cause????

find them, look for errors, post the errors

Did you install windows sp4? If yes and if you are using teamsite 5.5.2 you have to install teamsite sp5, else you might have to back out of the sp install.
