Changing the DataDeploy log files location

Hello everyone,

Does anybody had changed the location for DataDeploy logfiles? (ddservice.log, iwsyncdb_initial.log, iwsyncdb_ddgen.log, iwddd.log, please note these are general DataDeploy log files not for a particular deployment)

My current installation is writing the logfiles to [od-home]/ and I would like to changed to [od-home]/logs

I reviewed the registry and there my logfiles home is [od-home]

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

What is your DD version? I believe when you install DD5.2.x and above, the installer allows you to specify which directory you want to save your DD logs to. After the installation, you can still change the logging location by doing this: Under registry in NT Hkey_local_machine\software\interwoven\DataDeploy\<your DD release version> option called dd-loghome, change it to the directory you want the DD logs to be saved.
