Homemade OpenDeploy 5.5.x Reporting?

We're in the process of migrating from OpenDeploy 4.2.1 to 5.5.x. I know that the OpenDeploy > GRC (Global Reporting Center) integration that I'm used to in 4.2.1 doesn't exist in 5.5.x any more. Here's my question:

Has anyone come up with an interim solution that helps them centralize reporting and statistics for their 5.0+ OpenDeploy installation?

I suspect that it could be done by wrapping deployments in workflow or via an external script that extracts log info and builds a 'data mart' of the info, but I thought I'd check here before jumping into building one.

You might want to check out the OD Admin UI to see if that provides enough info for you. If not, then you can build a DNR script that parses the in-memory log and extracts the particular data you want.

I've been working some with the GUI and I have a handle on what it will do.

I'm looking for ability to formulate queries that, such as 'list all of the deployments performed between July 1 and Aug. 1', or 'list all deployments that target a certain OD receiver', or 'list all of today's failed deployments.'

These are all queries that view the deployments at a less granular level than the GUI capabilities.

Why did Interwoven implement this huge step backward? Why was the OpenDeploy interface removed from the GRC? Forcing your users to now customize code to do what used to be included has to be a huge oversight on someone's part. You have managed to make it extremely difficult for your customers to quickly capture useful information on OD history. Thanks a bunch.

Dave,
OD 5 introduced a new Admin UI that was not present in OD 4. But as you've pointed out, the GRC support was not carried forward.

We are looking at how to improve OD's reporting capabilities in a future release.

Well that's a very political response, but which release? How long will we have to wait to get the functionality we used to have? It's not good enough to just cop out and say it'll be available in a future release - that doesn't really help. Give us details.
