Search uses Verity Ultraseek.
I guess you just confused that with Veritas.

TeamSite Search does not use Ultraseek but we use the same underlying technology. TeamSite Search is built using Verity's VDK (a set of shared libraries with an API) and Verity KeyViewFilter.
