HTML entities as option values in DCT

I have a problem.. I'm trying to include an html entity (&agrave Smiley Wink

as part of a select option value in a datacapture.cfg file. However, when I try to open a dcr, I get the error message: "Templating Error Page: An exception was thrown: Stopping after fatal error: The entity "agrave" was referenced, but not declared. "

How can I "declare" the entity so I can reference it properly?

That looks about right if you want the actual character to be stored in the DCR.

However, if you want the actual string

&agrave;

to be in the value of the field (which you may want, assuming this will be published as an HTML page), then you probably want something like

&amp;agrave;
